What is CODEPINK? CODEPINK emerged out of a desperate desire by a group of American women to stop the Bush administration from invading Iraq. The name CODEPINK plays on the Bush Administration's color-coded homeland security alerts - yellow, orange, red - that signal terrorist threats. While Bush's color-coded alerts are based on fear and are used to justify violence, the CODEPINK alert is a feisty call for women and men to "wage peace."

What is our mission?

CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities. CODEPINK rejects foreign policies based on domination and aggression, and instead calls for policies based on diplomacy, compassion and a commitment to international law. Description

Same Sky Bracelets are crocheted in Kigali, Rwanda by HIV+ women, all of whom are survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. Every bracelet comes signed by the woman who crocheted that individual piece.

Bracelets are made of handblown glass beads (165-180 depending on size) and are crocheted on a complimentery colored, non stretch cord. Sizes include Small, Medium, and Large by special order. Smalls fit 6.0" - 7.0" wrists and mediums fit 7.0" - 8.0" wrists. Over time the bracelets will stretch to fit and accommodate the size of your wrist.

With the purchase of a bracelet you become a part of the powerful circle connecting women everywhere.
