About the Artist: For more than four decades John Rosica has been creating Doodle Art.  Created during the years when he was an executive in the music industry and later as founder of his Public Relations Agency*.  Rosica’s Doodles were drawn during business meetings and while relaxing utilizing pen and paper.  From 1955 t0 1976 he was an executive at RCA,Paramount and A&M Records inNew York andLos Angeles.  Rosica considers this time a well paid training ground for his second career - as founder of Rosica Public Relations in 1980. John recommended that its first client, Wally Amos, adopt adult illiteracy as his corporate cause and worked closely with Wally and Literacy Volunteers of America, Inc. in positioning the issue to become the national well-known cause it is today.

Rosica PR is credited for making Wally Amos “famous.”  According to Snack Food Magazine, “To say that the Famous Amos campaign worked would be an understatement.  What it turned out to be is one of the most successful public relations/marketing campaigns in the history of the food business.”

John was recognized by Literacy Volunteers of America with the coveted Chairman's Award for Distinguished Service.  He also served on President Lyndon Johnson’s High School Dropout Task Force; inaugurated a public relations program for the Eye Bank of New York Citythat began a nationwide marketing effort; pioneered the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign; served on the board of Literacy Volunteers of America and volunteers for various programs in inner cities.  In 2008, he was inducted into the Public Relations Hall of Fame.  A native of Philadelphia, he attended Villanova University and is a graduate of  Marine Corps boot camp, Parris Island, South Carolina.  He works and resides in Bergen County, NJ.

About Doodle Art: Doodling appears to allow a person's subconscious to work and the brain to concentrate.   Much of our creative expression is birthed in the subconscious mind.  Doodling, then, is one of the ways of delving into the subconscious to bring out creative expressions and solutions in our everyday life. Often doodles turn out so beautiful that Doodling has been designated as an art form. (Source: CopperWiki.org)
